- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation in production-like environments.
- • Write clear, detailed natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define coding challenges for peer evaluation.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and edge cases.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment between specifications and implementation.
- • Identify ambiguities, edge cases, potential failure modes, and inconsistencies in code submissions to ensure high-quality evaluation standards.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference code, and expected outputs across all delivered artifacts.
- • Work as a project-based consultant on a part-time basis with full autonomy over schedule and workflow.
- • Contribute to the creation of realistic software engineering scenarios used to train and evaluate AI models in a global AI training ecosystem.
- • Operate independently using personal tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment or software is provided.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding tasks with complete reference implementations and robust validation artifacts.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback during peer reviews that helps improve the quality and realism of submitted code.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English for all documentation, specifications, and feedback communications.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of consultants and evaluators across time zones.
- • Accept project assignments on a per-project basis with compensation tied to task completion, not hourly rates.
- • May simultaneously engage with other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with project obligations or third-party policies.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to assess code quality and functionality.
- • Perform code reviews, refactoring assessments, and production migration evaluations as part of task design and peer review cycles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
