📋 Description

• Design and implement multi-file Python-based coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for production-realistic software engineering scenarios.
• Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define expected behavior and implementation requirements.
• Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and edge case handling.
• Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications, identifying ambiguities, edge cases, and potential failure modes.
• Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference code implementations, and expected outputs across all evaluated submissions.
• Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to assess code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in structured code review processes, providing actionable feedback on code structure, performance, readability, and test coverage.
• Contribute to production migrations and code refactoring initiatives by designing realistic scenarios that simulate real-world engineering challenges.
• Operate as an independent project-based consultant with full control over schedule, tools, and workflow, while maintaining high standards of deliverable quality.
• Work remotely on a part-time, project-based engagement with no fixed hours or mandatory availability, allowing flexibility to manage multiple vendor relationships concurrently (subject to their policies).
• Deliver high-quality, production-grade coding tasks that reflect real-world software engineering environments, including realistic constraints, dependencies, and edge cases.
• Generate robust validation artifacts including test suites, reference implementations, and detailed review feedback to support AI model evaluation and training.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of engineers and evaluators to maintain consistency in task quality and evaluation criteria across submissions.
• Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear, unambiguous specifications, feedback, and documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Apply 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience to design tasks that accurately represent industry-standard development workflows and challenges.
• Utilize strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go to create diverse and technically rich coding scenarios.
• Engage in end-to-end software development lifecycle activities including design, implementation, testing, review, and migration simulation within project-based deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Advanced professional written proficiency in English
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
• Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
