📋 Description
- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for production-grade software systems.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define coding challenges and expected outcomes.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and robustness.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications, identifying edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs across diverse software environments.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to assess code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- • Contribute to production migrations and code refactoring initiatives by evaluating technical feasibility and impact on system stability.
- • Operate as an independent project-based consultant with full autonomy over schedule, tools, and workflow.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic software engineering tasks that simulate real-world developer challenges for AI evaluation purposes.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions to improve task quality and consistency across the evaluation pipeline.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear, unambiguous technical documentation and feedback.
- • Work remotely with no fixed hours, managing multiple project-based assignments concurrently while adhering to deliverable deadlines.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of engineers and evaluators to refine the quality of AI training datasets through expert software engineering validation.
- • Retain the right to provide services to other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with project obligations or confidentiality requirements.
- • Receive payment on a per-project basis, with rates estimated based on anticipated time to complete each task.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
