- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for production-realistic software engineering scenarios.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define coding challenges and expected outcomes.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and edge case handling.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications, identifying ambiguities, edge cases, and potential failure modes.
- • Ensure strict consistency between task specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs across all deliverables.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to assess code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- • Participate in code reviews and contribute to refactoring and production migration efforts as part of evaluated tasks.
- • Operate independently as a project-based consultant with full control over schedule, tools, and workflow.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-grade coding tasks that simulate real-world software engineering challenges for evaluation purposes.
- • Contribute to the creation of structured, actionable feedback for peer submissions, focusing on technical accuracy, code readability, and robustness.
- • Work remotely with no fixed hours, managing time and deliverables autonomously while meeting project deadlines.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear documentation, specifications, and review comments.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a global team of experts in a project-based, non-employment engagement model.
- • Simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with the terms of this engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
