- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for production-grade software systems.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define coding challenges and expected outcomes.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and robustness.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with production standards, identifying edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference code, and expected outputs to maintain high-quality evaluation benchmarks for AI training and assessment.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to understand context, dependencies, and architectural patterns before designing or evaluating tasks.
- • Perform code reviews and refactoring exercises to improve code quality, readability, and maintainability in simulated production environments.
- • Contribute to production migrations by designing realistic migration scenarios that reflect real-world technical debt and upgrade challenges.
- • Operate independently as a project-based consultant with full control over schedule, tools, and workflow, while maintaining consistent delivery quality.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding tasks that serve as evaluation benchmarks for AI systems, including complete reference implementations and validation artifacts.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions, focusing on technical accuracy, code design, testing completeness, and clarity of implementation.
- • Work remotely as a part-time, project-based expert contributor without fixed hours or mandatory attendance, engaging only on assigned tasks.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear, unambiguous specifications, feedback, and documentation for global AI evaluation pipelines.
- • Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of engineers and evaluators, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards for AI training and benchmarking.
- • Simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with project obligations or confidentiality requirements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
