- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for production-realistic software engineering scenarios.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define expected behavior and implementation requirements.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and edge case handling.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with specifications, identifying ambiguities, edge cases, and potential failure modes.
- • Ensure strict consistency between task specifications, reference code implementations, and expected outputs across all deliverables.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to assess code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- • Participate in structured code review processes, providing actionable feedback on peer submissions related to logic, structure, performance, and test coverage.
- • Contribute to production migrations and code refactoring efforts by analyzing existing systems and proposing improvements that enhance reliability and scalability.
- • Work independently on a project-based, part-time consultant basis with full control over schedule and workload.
- • Operate remotely with no requirement for fixed hours or team coordination; deliverables are evaluated on quality and completeness, not time spent.
- • Use personal tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment or software is provided.
- • Simultaneously engage with other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with the terms of other engagements.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-grade coding tasks that simulate real-world engineering challenges faced by AI labs and software teams.
- • Generate robust validation artifacts including test suites, documentation, and review feedback that enable accurate assessment of software engineering competency.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear, unambiguous specifications, feedback, and documentation.
- • Apply 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience to evaluate and construct realistic, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
- • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go to support diverse task requirements.
- • Engage in end-to-end software development cycles including design, implementation, testing, review, and refinement of coding tasks.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
