• • Join SplitMetrics, the Apple Ads Partner that pioneered the first Apple Ads management platform and now drives over $1 billion in annual ad spend for global giants like Skyscanner, Glovo, Flo, Babbel and Wooga. As a Python Engineer on the SplitMetrics Acquire product, you will own the backbone of a high-load system that processes millions of bid events, campaign updates and attribution signals every hour.
• • Architect and scale Python services that ingest, transform and serve terabytes of marketing data. You will design fault-tolerant data pipelines using Kafka for real-time event streaming and StarRocks for lightning-fast OLAP queries, ensuring that campaign managers see fresh metrics within seconds, not minutes.
• • Build and maintain distributed asynchronous processing systems with Celery that juggle thousands of priority queues. Your code will orchestrate bid adjustments, budget reallocations and creative rotations across thousands of campaigns without dropping a single task, even under 10× traffic spikes.
• • Integrate seamlessly with internal ML microservices via gRPC and RabbitMQ, enabling real-time bid recommendations and predictive analytics that lift ROAS for our customers. You will define protobuf contracts, tune connection pools and implement circuit breakers to guarantee sub-100 ms latency.
• • Craft robust RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework that power bulk campaign operations, reporting exports and self-service onboarding flows. Expect to handle 50k+ concurrent requests while maintaining strict rate limits and OAuth2 security.
• • Improve system reliability end-to-end by introducing monitoring, alerting and graceful degradation patterns. Instrument every endpoint with Datadog APM, Prometheus metrics and Sentry error tracking so that anomalies are caught before customers notice.
• • Optimize complex SQL queries and database schemas in PostgreSQL, shaving milliseconds off p99 latency and reducing infrastructure costs. You will profile slow queries, introduce partial indexes and partition tables to keep the system lean as data volume grows 3× year-over-year.
• • Influence architectural decisions in a cross-functional squad of backend, data and ML engineers. You will weigh trade-offs between technical elegance and business impact, ensuring that every refactor or new service accelerates revenue growth.
• • Champion modern DevOps practices: containerize services with Docker, deploy to AWS via GitHub Actions, and roll out blue-green releases with zero downtime. You will also mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming and internal tech talks.
