- • Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing on new and existing software features to ensure quality and reliability.
- • Identify, document, and communicate software defects to the development team with clear reproduction steps and actionable feedback.
- • Test AI-enabled product features for accuracy, reliability, usability, edge cases, and unintended behaviors in healthcare software.
- • Leverage AI and agentic tools to enhance test planning, generate test cases, improve exploratory testing, automate documentation, and increase QA efficiency.
- • Collaborate with product, development, and design teams to review requirements, provide quality input during development cycles, and align on quality expectations.
- • Maintain accurate and consistent documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results for internal stakeholders and audit readiness.
- • Prioritize testing efforts based on risk and business impact, focusing on high-impact areas within the rehab therapy software ecosystem.
- • Proactively communicate testing status, blockers, risks, and tradeoffs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation standards, and testing workflows across the software development lifecycle.
- • Take ownership of assigned testing tasks, follow through on commitments, and consistently deliver high-quality results with minimal oversight.
- • Manage multiple testing priorities simultaneously, adapt quickly to shifting deadlines and requirements, and clearly articulate tradeoffs when necessary.
- • Advocate for quality at every stage of product development, from requirement gathering to release.
- • Ensure software meets the highest standards before deployment to rehab therapy clinics, directly impacting patient care outcomes.
- • Work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where initiative, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving are essential to success.
- • Support Prompt’s mission to digitize paper-heavy rehab therapy workflows, reduce environmental waste, and improve patient outcomes through reliable software.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1 - 3 years of experience in a QA Analyst or similar role, preferably in healthcare-related software, particularly rehab therapy or similar domains.
- • Solid experience with manual testing techniques including functional, regression, smoke, and acceptance testing.
- • Experience testing AI-enabled features or a strong demonstrated interest in evaluating AI outputs, identifying edge cases, and using AI/agentic tools to improve QA workflows.
- • Strong documentation skills for writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify software inconsistencies and provide actionable feedback.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and design teams.
