- • As a QA Testing Analyst at Genworth Financial, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of technology solutions that support world-class customer service for millions of policyholders, directly contributing to the company’s mission of empowering families through compassionate, innovative care solutions.
- • Day to day, you will support quality assurance efforts for the Long Term Care claims administration systems by reviewing business and technical documents, creating test plans and cases, executing tests across multiple technologies (including Java and Mainframe), tracking defects, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product owners in agile environments.
- • You will join an IT team within Genworth Financial that values diversity, inclusion, and empathy, guided by the company’s four core values: Make it human, Make it about others, Make it happen, and Make it better, while working remotely from India to support strategic priorities in LTC Claims Admin applications.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in QA methodologies, gain hands-on experience with test automation and DevOps practices, strengthen your skills in SQL, scripting, and defect tracking tools, and advance your knowledge of LTC insurance systems while contributing to continuous process improvement and quality standards across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4-year college degree and/or relevant experience as a quality analyst in a complex environment with multiple interfacing applications, preferably in insurance/finance domain
- • Experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, execution, defect tracking (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), and root cause analysis
- • Good knowledge of SQL, Excel, scripting, and MS Office tools, with practical knowledge of LTC insurance products and premiums considered ideal
- • Agile experience and familiarity with insurance systems, particularly premium calculations, and testing applications across technologies such as Java and Mainframe
- • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently and work effectively with developers, BAs, and product owners in cross-functional teams
