As a rapidly growing Australian scale-up, we are dedicated to leveling the playing field, ensuring businesses of all sizes can thrive with tools that accelerate cash flow, improve payment speed, and offer deeper financial insights. We are building the future of business banking and payments, and we're looking for passionate individuals to join our journey.
  • • As a Quality Analyst at Zeller, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to product excellence. You will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our innovative suite of financial products and services. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a hyper-growth payments startup, working within a dedicated quality team that drives our obsession with product quality. You will be challenged to collaborate with a team building a new Australian bank from the ground up, making a tangible impact on the financial landscape for businesses.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously test and validate Zeller's products, identifying defects, and ensuring they meet all functional, performance, and usability requirements. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and test planning to test execution and reporting. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a systematic approach to problem-solving, and a proactive mindset in identifying potential issues before they reach our customers.
  • • You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering various testing types such as functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. This involves understanding complex business requirements and translating them into effective test scenarios. You will work closely with our Product Managers, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of quality standards and to facilitate the timely resolution of defects.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes and methodologies. You will participate in defect triage meetings, providing clear and concise information about identified issues, their impact, and recommended solutions. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, helping to increase efficiency and coverage.
  • • You will be responsible for documenting test results, creating detailed bug reports, and tracking defects through their lifecycle. This requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your insights will be crucial in guiding development priorities and ensuring that we deliver robust and reliable solutions.
  • • Furthermore, you will stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing, bringing new ideas and techniques to the team. You will advocate for the user experience, ensuring that our products are not only functional but also intuitive and easy to use. Your dedication to quality will directly contribute to Zeller's reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction as we continue to scale and innovate.
  • • This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged, and bureaucracy is minimized. You will be part of a supportive and high-performing team that is passionate about challenging the status quo and evolving outdated banking solutions. If you are driven by a desire to make a difference, thrive on new possibilities, and are excited by the prospect of shaping the future of Australian business finance, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
  • • You will be expected to perform various types of testing, including but not limited to:
  • • Functional Testing: Verifying that each function of the software operates as specified in the requirements.
  • • Regression Testing: Ensuring that new changes or bug fixes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
  • • Integration Testing: Testing the interfaces between different modules or systems.
  • • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Validating that the system meets the business needs and user requirements.
  • • Performance Testing: Assessing the responsiveness, stability, and scalability of the application under various loads.
  • • Usability Testing: Evaluating the ease of use and user-friendliness of the application.
  • • You will also be involved in:
  • • Test Environment Setup and Management: Ensuring test environments are configured correctly and available for testing.
  • • Test Data Management: Creating and maintaining relevant test data for various test scenarios.
  • • Reporting and Communication: Providing regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics.
  • • Collaboration: Working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure alignment and efficient defect resolution.
  • • Your contribution will be vital in ensuring Zeller continues to deliver exceptional products that empower businesses across Australia. You will be a key player in building trust and reliability into every aspect of our platform, supporting our rapid growth and ambitious vision.
