- • Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases. This involves a deep understanding of user stories, functional requirements, and technical specifications to create thorough testing scenarios that cover all aspects of the application. You will be instrumental in identifying potential issues early in the development lifecycle, thereby minimizing costly rework and accelerating our time to market.
- • A significant part of your responsibility will involve manual testing, where your keen eye for detail and systematic approach will be crucial. You will perform functional testing, regression testing, usability testing, and exploratory testing to validate that the software behaves as expected across various scenarios and user interactions. This hands-on testing ensures that the user experience is seamless and intuitive, aligning with our commitment to customer satisfaction.
- • Beyond manual execution, you will also contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts. Collaborating closely with the development team, you will identify opportunities for automation to increase testing efficiency and coverage. - • You will be a proactive participant in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). From the initial stages of requirements gathering and design reviews, you will provide valuable feedback from a quality perspective. Your insights will help shape the product, ensuring that quality is built-in from the ground up, rather than being an afterthought. You will actively engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, contributing to a collaborative and agile development environment.
- • Performance and load testing will also fall under your purview. You will design and execute tests to assess the application's performance under various load conditions, identifying potential scalability issues and ensuring that our platform can handle peak user traffic without compromising speed or stability. This proactive approach to performance testing is vital for maintaining a positive user experience, especially as our user base continues to grow.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for defect tracking and management. This involves accurately documenting bugs, providing clear and concise reproduction steps, prioritizing issues based on severity and impact, and working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. You will also be involved in verifying bug fixes and performing regression testing to confirm that resolved issues have not introduced new problems.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- • Experience in designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategies for web and/or mobile applications.
- • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test management tools.
- • Basic understanding of automated testing principles and experience with at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is a plus.
- • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
