- • The Quality Assurance Manager at Fira Health, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the quality and compliance of clinical documentation and service delivery to ensure alignment with federal, state, and accreditation standards, directly supporting the company’s mission to fix US healthcare by reducing administrative waste and improving patient access through AI-native home health solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and auditing clinical documentation (OASIS assessments, plans of care, visit notes, discharge summaries) for accuracy and compliance; ensuring proper OASIS data collection and ICD-10 coding; leading QAPI initiatives and performance improvement plans; providing training to clinical staff on documentation best practices and regulatory updates; monitoring and investigating incidents or sentinel events; and supporting internal audits and compliance preparedness activities.

- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in home health regulatory compliance, quality improvement methodologies, and clinical documentation standards; gain leadership experience in driving organizational quality initiatives; enhance skills in data-driven performance tracking and risk mitigation; and contribute meaningfully to improving patient outcomes and clinician satisfaction in a rapidly growing healthcare technology organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Registered Nurse (RN) required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
- • Active RN license in Texas with no restrictions
- • Minimum of 3–5 years in home health nursing or clinical management
- • At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or utilization review in a home health setting preferred
- • In-depth knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), OASIS, and home health documentation standards
- • Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., HCHB, Axxess, Kinnser) and Microsoft Office
