- • Audit a sample of credential reviews conducted by ShiftKey’s Operations team and third-party vendors to verify that healthcare professionals’ credentials are validated correctly and accurately entered into company systems.
- • Produce weekly reports identifying recurring errors and trends in credentialing, segmented by credential type and individual reviewer performance.
- • Translate audit findings into actionable insights to support team leads in coaching, performance improvement, and targeted training interventions.
- • Provide regional Credentialing Leads with tailored recommendations for process enhancements and updated training materials based on audit data.
- • Assist in onboarding and training new hires by sharing quality standards, audit protocols, and best practices.
- • Respond to time-sensitive audit requests and participate in special projects as needed to ensure compliance and data integrity.
- • Maintain rigorous attention to detail when reviewing complex healthcare credentials, including licenses, certifications, background checks, and immunization records.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Credentialing teams to identify systemic issues and propose scalable solutions to reduce error rates.
- • Document all audit activities, findings, and recommendations in a clear, structured format for internal review and compliance purposes.
- • Ensure all quality assurance activities align with ShiftKey’s mission to mitigate healthcare staffing shortages through accurate, reliable credentialing.
- • Use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to organize, analyze, and visualize audit data for reporting and decision-making.
- • Communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders, turning data into clear narratives that drive operational improvements.
- • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all applicable healthcare data privacy standards during credential reviews.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement by proactively identifying gaps in processes and suggesting enhancements.
- • Participate in in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to support team engagement and cultural development, while primarily working remotely.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2 years of experience in a similar role with proven ability to plan, conduct, and document quality audits.
- • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- • A sharp eye for detail and a natural instinct for spotting patterns in data.
- • Comfort working in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to organize and present findings.
- • Strong communication skills — ability to translate data into stories that drive action.
- • Familiarity with healthcare or tech industry environments is a big plus.
