Quality Control Specialist (Night Shift)

📋 Description • The Quality Control Specialist (Night Shift) plays a critical role in ensuring product safety, efficacy, and compliance by inspecting and testing products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle to meet internal, regulatory, and USP standards, directly supporting Hims & Hers’ mission to deliver accessible, personalized health and wellness solutions. • Day-to-day responsibilities include performing in-process and post-production quality checks, conducting AQL visual inspections, managing product retain samples, supporting investigations and change control, reviewing batch records and COAs, assisting with raw material inspections, drafting SOPs, and ensuring compliance with USP <795>, <797>, <800> and cGMP standards on the shop floor. • The role is based in Gilbert, Arizona, within Hims & Hers’ Quality Unit, a team dedicated to continuous improvement and regulatory excellence in a fast-growing, NYSE-listed health and wellness company that prioritizes customer-centric innovation and equitable access to care. • The specialist will develop deep expertise in pharmaceutical quality systems, regulatory compliance (FDA, USP), aseptic processing, and data-driven quality improvement, while gaining hands-on experience in a regulated 503b outsourcing environment and building cross-functional collaboration skills with QA, pharmacy, and external partners. 🎯 Requirements • B.S. in chemistry, microbiology, biology, quality management, engineering, or related discipline preferred • 1-3 years experience in quality assurance/control, process/quality engineering, or product formulation • Working knowledge of USP-NF standards <795>, <797>, <800> including monographs • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong time management and organizational skills • Solid computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google platform applications • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills 🏖️ Benefits • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) • 401(k) benefits with employer matching contribution
