- • As a Quality Improvement Professional 2 at Humana Inc., you will analyze and measure current business processes to develop sustainable, repeatable improvements that drive quality and operational excellence across the Illinois Market.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include researching and benchmarking best practices, analyzing process data to identify opportunities for safety and cost-effectiveness improvements, conducting CMS and state audits (including HRA compliance and transitions of care), validating source system data for reporting, presenting audit findings, and supporting audit activities.
- • You will join Humana’s Illinois Market team, part of a leading U.S. healthcare company dedicated to improving health outcomes for Medicare and Medicaid members, families, individuals, and communities through integrated insurance and CenterWell healthcare services.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare quality improvement, compliance, and data-driven process enhancement while contributing to meaningful improvements in care delivery and organizational performance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • 2 years of experience related to process improvement, compliance measures, or auditing practices OR 2 years of experience in Medicaid/Medicare Care Coordination
- • Ability to travel to Schaumburg office 2-4 times yearly for State and CMS Mock audits and occasional extended travel to Louisville during CMS Audits
- • Ability to manipulate and interpret data
- • Knowledge of HEDIS/Stars/CMS/Quality (preferred)
- • Experience in Medicaid or Medicare Guidelines (preferred)
