  • • As a Quality Process Engineer Manager at Campbell Soup Company, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the quality engineering strategy across our network, directly contributing to network enabler targets, enhancing the consumer experience through Quality Excellence, and driving breakthrough operational excellence (opex).
  • • You will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive roadmaps that guide capability development and maturity evolution for process control, ensuring our manufacturing processes are robust, efficient, and consistently meet the highest quality standards.
  • • This role demands a strategic partner who collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Field leaders, site-level technical leadership, and Business Quality Assurance (BQA), to build essential capabilities and enhance integrated digital solutions.
  • • A key focus will be advancing data availability and response mechanisms, leveraging data-driven insights to inform quality strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • • You will lead and mentor a dedicated team of Quality Engineers, guiding them in the successful delivery of targeted improvement projects and championing high-stakes, network-level programs that have a significant impact on our operations.
  • • Your responsibilities will include partnering with Quality Field leaders and site technical leadership to identify and prioritize focus projects, meticulously maintaining a roadmap and strategic horizon outlook for these priorities, and ensuring aligned plans for critical platforms are in place.
  • • You will serve as the technical lead for benchmarking activities, both internally and externally, to identify best practices and continuously improve our process standards and compliance measures.
  • • A crucial aspect of this role is aligning project work for your team, ensuring that robust governance processes are established and adhered to, thereby maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our quality systems.
  • • You will develop and align a technical training roadmap, ensuring the necessary resources are available to enhance the overall technical capability of our enterprise, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • • The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program for process standards, working collaboratively with sites to improve compliance targets and address identified opportunities for enhancement.
  • • You will provide essential direction, support, and mentorship to the Quality Engineering team, empowering them to achieve their objectives and contribute to the company's quality goals.
  • • Influencing and aligning stakeholders across various levels of the organization will be critical to securing buy-in for critical priorities that align with business requirements, ensuring that robust processes and sustainability elements are integrated for ongoing progress and long-term success.
  • • You will act as a champion for network-level programs, driving significant capability improvements, waste reduction, and enhancing our ability to meet design targets, which includes governing stakeholder reviews with senior leadership to ensure alignment and support.
  • • As a change management agent, you will be responsible for building and rolling out advanced capabilities in statistical process control (SPC) and Lean Six Sigma tools, embedding these methodologies into our operational fabric.
  • • You will also be tasked with building a robust process standards compliance model for the entire network, ensuring consistency and adherence across all facilities.
  • • This role reports into the Director, Technical Service Quality, and requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and leadership principles.
  • • The position requires a significant commitment to travel, with approximately 70% of your time spent on-site at various Campbell Soup Company locations across the USA, necessitating a commutable distance from Hanover, PA; Napoleon, OH; Charlotte, NC; Denver, PA; or Willard, OH.
  • • You will play a pivotal role in upholding Campbell's legacy of quality and innovation, ensuring that our products continue to be trusted and loved by consumers worldwide.
