- • Analyze market microstructure and on-chain data to identify inefficiencies and trading opportunities in cryptocurrency markets.
- • Apply statistical and machine-learning techniques to generate, validate, and improve trading signals for automated strategies.
- • Design and implement end-to-end market-making, arbitrage, and systematic trading strategies.
- • Build and maintain signal-generation pipelines, feature stores, and parameter-optimization tooling for quantitative research.
- • Develop robust backtesting frameworks and conduct performance analysis and attribution for trading strategies.
- • Implement trading system components including order management and direct exchange connectivity.
- • Build and operate high-quality data pipelines and research platforms to ensure reproducible and scalable research.
- • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and latency/performance optimization in production trading environments.
- • Implement risk monitoring and control systems across multiple strategies and trading venues.
- • Run post-trade analytics to evaluate execution quality, slippage, and market impact.
- • Develop risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools for strategy and portfolio oversight.
- • Run simulations to estimate market impact for both liquid and illiquid assets.
- • Work within a highly-skilled quantitative team based in New York with remote US colleagues.
- • Collaborate on cutting-edge blockchain technology focused on decentralized finance (DeFi) and interoperable smart contracts.
- • Contribute to the development of the Injective blockchain, which is natively integrated with Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana.
- • Utilize Python for research and production systems, with proficiency in C++ or Rust for performance-critical components.
- • Apply strong foundations in probability, statistics, time-series modeling, and quantitative methods to real-world trading problems.
- • Work with real-time market data and low-latency execution engines to react immediately to market changes.
- • Maintain version control, software engineering principles, and data structures in all research and production code.
- • Engage in continuous improvement of research platforms and trading infrastructure to support high-frequency trading operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • M.S. or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- • 3–5 years of quantitative research/analysis or development experience
- • Experience in HFT development
- • Expert-level Python for research and production; proficiency in C++ or Rust for performance-critical components
- • Strong foundation in probability, statistics, time-series modeling, and quantitative methods
- • Experience with statistical analysis, backtesting methodologies, and strategy development
