- • The RCM QA Specialist - Adjustments / Refunds role at ResMed Inc. is critical to ensuring accurate financial processing and compliance within the revenue cycle, directly impacting cash flow and regulatory adherence by managing adjustments and refunds with precision.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include processing timely and accurate adjustments and refunds into the billing system, conducting thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures, resolving discrepancies in accounts, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of US payer contracts and reimbursement policies, documenting processes, participating in quality control activities and audits, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- • The role is based in ResMed’s Chennai Remote team, supporting global revenue cycle operations with a focus on DME/HME specialty, where the company is committed to improving lives through innovative sleep and respiratory care solutions while fostering a diverse, inclusive, and excellence-driven culture.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in revenue cycle management, gain mastery over US payer regulations and billing systems like Brightree, develop audit and quality assurance competencies, and contribute to process optimization — positioning them for advancement in healthcare finance, RCM leadership, or compliance roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2 years of hands-on experience in revenue cycle management within the DME/HME specialty
- • Strong knowledge and experience with AR follow-up and denial management processes
- • In-depth understanding of US payer management, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- • Up-to-date knowledge of coding and billing regulations, reimbursement guidelines, and industry trends
