As a React Native Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting and enhancing our cutting-edge mobile applications, directly contributing to our vision of empowering millions worldwide by removing financial barriers and fostering wealth creation without compromising values.
• Join our dynamic Platform and Global development teams, where you will play a pivotal role in the entire lifecycle of our mobile product(s) for both iOS and Android platforms. This includes the meticulous design, robust development, ongoing maintenance, and seamless implementation of new and existing features, ensuring a consistently exceptional user experience.
• Your primary responsibility will be to build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth User Interfaces (UIs) that delight users across both mobile platforms. You will translate complex design concepts into elegant, functional, and highly performant mobile interfaces, paying close attention to every detail to achieve a truly polished and intuitive user experience.
• Engineer innovative mobile features that are designed to work seamlessly across all our maintained mobile applications and platforms. This requires a deep understanding of cross-platform development principles and the ability to create reusable components and logic that ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Leverage native APIs to achieve deep integrations with other platforms and services. This will involve understanding the intricacies of both iOS and Android native functionalities to unlock advanced features and create a more connected and powerful user experience.
• Proactively diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks. Your keen analytical skills will be crucial in identifying issues, implementing effective solutions, and optimizing the application for speed and stability, ensuring users have the best possible experience with our products.
• Maintain a versioned codebase with a strong emphasis on quality and reliability. This includes writing comprehensive, automated unit tests to ensure the product's integrity and prevent regressions, adhering to best practices in software development.
• Play a key role in transitioning existing features to React Native. This is a critical aspect of our strategy to build and maintain feature parity across platforms, ensuring a unified and high-quality experience for all users, regardless of their device.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile team environment. You will participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and shared ownership.
• Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously on single assignments, taking ownership of tasks from conception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Cooperate with other development teams, including Front-End and Back-End divisions, to provide and build API spec outlines. This cross-functional collaboration is essential for ensuring smooth integration and the successful delivery of features.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in React Native and mobile development.
• You will be a key contributor to building a product that has a tangible, positive impact on the financial lives of individuals globally, aligning your technical skills with a meaningful social mission.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax and React Native.
• Proven ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code and a strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
• Experience with third-party packages for React and React Native, including rock-solid experience working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
• Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode, Gradle, and Android Studio, with proficiency in debugging, building, and working within Xcode and Android Studio.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage solutions.
• Experience with automated testing suites like Detox and Jest.
• Proficiency with Git and general repository care, including branching strategies, Git commands, and managing pull requests and merge conflicts.
