📋 Description

• As a React/React Native Engineer at Trading 212 UK Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the frontend experience for over 5 million users across iOS, Android, Web, and Desktop platforms, directly contributing to the company’s mission of enabling everyone to build wealth through exceptional, high-performance trading and investing products.
• You will help drive technical excellence by advancing a frontend monorepo strategy focused on code reuse, efficiency, and maintainability, ensuring that every line of code supports long-term product health and scalability in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and refining user interfaces using React and React Native, implementing features with attention to detail and pixel-perfect precision, and collaborating closely with designers and product teams to translate requirements into robust, responsive components.
• You will actively participate in agile, autonomous teams with short release cycles, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration practices while maintaining a high velocity of delivery without compromising on quality or system stability.
• A key part of your role will involve advocating for and improving code maintainability through clean architecture, modular design, and thorough documentation, ensuring that the codebase remains understandable, testable, and easy to evolve as the product scales.
• You will engage in a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing, regularly exchanging insights with colleagues through pair programming, tech talks, and mentorship, fostering both personal growth and collective team expertise.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of modern web standards and browser compatibility
• Proven experience building applications with React and React Native, including familiarity with component lifecycle, hooks, and performance optimization
• Practical experience with one or more state management libraries (such as Redux, MobX, or Context API) to manage complex application state effectively
