• • This part-time AI residency at Aptura Inc. offers senior real estate investment professionals a unique opportunity to apply their expertise in shaping how frontier AI models reason about complex financial decisions in institutional real estate.
• • Day to day, the resident will develop and iterate realistic prompts to test AI-generated insights, compare human versus machine judgment in real estate underwriting and asset management, design frameworks that translate professional REPE evaluation processes into AI reasoning challenges, and construct expert benchmarks using real-world underwriting models and investment cases.
• • The team at Mentis AI combines deep institutional asset management experience from firms like Lazard and Partners Group with cutting-edge machine learning research, collaborating with leading AI labs across London and San Francisco to improve AI reasoning in high-stakes financial contexts.
• • Through this role, the resident will gain hands-on exposure to how AI is transforming real estate workflows, contribute to pioneering work on AI reasoning in acquisitions and asset management, and develop practical skills in evaluating and guiding frontier AI systems using domain-specific expertise.
