- • As a Recruiter at Farel, you will play a pivotal role in scaling a high-growth startup that is revolutionizing the airline industry with its unified operating system, directly impacting the company’s ability to innovate and expand by securing top talent across technical and non-technical functions.
- • You will partner closely with the CEO and COO to shape hiring strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and maintaining hiring velocity during a critical phase of growth, where every hire contributes to Farel’s mission of helping airlines launch in weeks rather than years.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include owning full-cycle recruitment for engineering, product, sales, and operations roles — from sourcing and screening to interviewing and closing candidates — while managing 5+ open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- • You will design and optimize the hiring funnel by establishing SLAs, tracking key metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and conversion rates, then using data to diagnose bottlenecks and recommend process improvements that enhance both speed and quality of hire.
- • You will lead proactive sourcing efforts across LinkedIn, professional communities, referral programs, and niche channels to identify passive candidates, reducing reliance on inbound applications and building a sustainable talent pipeline.
- • You will continuously refine recruitment processes by improving interview frameworks, scoring rubrics, ATS configurations, and offer templates, documenting best practices and eliminating inefficiencies to create a scalable, consistent hiring engine.
- • You will ensure every candidate receives a respectful, transparent, and engaging experience — regardless of outcome — by providing timely feedback and clear communication, reinforcing Farel’s employer brand in a competitive talent market.
- • You will collaborate with hiring managers to calibrate on role requirements, assess cultural and technical fit, and close offers with confidence, balancing speed with rigor to maintain high hiring standards.
- • You will contribute to building a data-informed recruiting function by creating and maintaining dashboards in tools like Notion or Google Sheets, translating recruitment analytics into actionable insights for leadership.
- • You will operate with significant autonomy, prioritizing effectively across competing demands, meeting deadlines without close supervision, and adapting quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic startup environment.
- • You will help shape Farel’s long-term talent strategy by identifying trends in hiring needs, recommending structural improvements, and supporting the company’s expansion into new markets and functions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a high-volume, high-pressure startup, scale-up, or in-house corporate recruiting environment.
- • Demonstrated success in closing both technical (e.g., engineering, product) and non-technical (e.g., sales, operations) roles within the same organization.
- • Strong data-driven mindset: proven ability to track recruitment funnel metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement changes to improve time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source ROI.
- • Direct experience partnering with C-level executives (CEO, COO) to align hiring strategy with business objectives and provide strategic talent insights.
- • Exceptional self-management skills: ability to independently prioritize and manage 5+ concurrent open roles while consistently meeting SLAs and deadlines.
- • Fluency in English for conducting interviews, writing clear communications, and collaborating asynchronously with a globally distributed team.
