- • Abricare Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented High-Volume Recruiter to spearhead our caregiver talent acquisition efforts specifically within the Kansas City North Missouri area. This is a specialized and critical role focused exclusively on the recruitment, meticulous screening, and successful hiring of essential caregivers, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to consistently meet and exceed our rapidly growing staffing demands. The ideal candidate will not only thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced recruiting environment but will also demonstrate exceptional skill in building authentic community relationships. This will be achieved through proactive engagement in recruiting events, strategic participation in job fairs, and impactful grassroots outreach initiatives. This position is distinctly different from a traditional recruiting role; it demands a unique blend of creativity, unwavering persistence, and a genuine passion for connecting with potential candidates in their communities and preferred environments.
- • As a High-Volume Recruiter, your primary objective will be to source, screen, and successfully hire a significant number of caregivers, LPNs, and CNAs each month, typically ranging from 15 to 25+, to ensure Abricare maintains optimal staffing levels. You will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle with precision and efficiency, from the initial candidate contact and engagement through to the final offer acceptance and a seamless handoff to the onboarding team. This involves conducting a high volume of phone screens and in-person interviews, ensuring each interaction is both efficient and effective in assessing candidate suitability and potential.
- • A key responsibility will be to proactively build and maintain a robust, diverse pipeline of qualified candidates. This pipeline will serve not only immediate staffing needs but also anticipate future requirements, ensuring a continuous flow of talent. To achieve this, you will employ a wide array of creative and innovative sourcing strategies. These will include leveraging social media platforms, engaging in targeted community outreach programs, developing and promoting effective referral programs, and forging strategic local partnerships with relevant organizations and institutions.
- • You will be responsible for meticulously tracking and consistently achieving monthly hiring goals and other critical key performance metrics, ensuring accountability and driving success. Your role will extend to planning, organizing, and actively hosting dedicated recruiting fairs at various local community events, churches, schools, and community centers. This hands-on approach is crucial for establishing Abricare's visible presence and solidifying its reputation as an employer of choice within the Kansas City North area.
- • Building and nurturing strong relationships with community organizations, local workforce development centers, and educational institutions will be paramount. You will represent Abricare professionally and enthusiastically at job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities, acting as a brand ambassador. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in developing creative and compelling marketing materials and strategies designed to attract local talent, ensuring our message resonates with the target audience.
- • Engaging with diverse communities to foster inclusive candidate pipelines is a core aspect of this role, ensuring Abricare reflects the communities it serves. You will expertly utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse, to manage candidate flow, meticulously track recruitment metrics, and maintain the integrity of our candidate data. Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all candidate interactions and hiring activities is essential for compliance and operational efficiency.
- • You will be tasked with generating insightful reports on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and time-to-fill, providing valuable data for strategic decision-making. Optimizing ATS workflows will be an ongoing effort to enhance overall efficiency and elevate the candidate experience. Collaboration with the broader HR team on Paylocity onboarding transitions will ensure a smooth and integrated process for new hires.
- • Providing an exceptional candidate experience from the very first point of contact through to the successful hire is non-negotiable. This includes conducting thorough pre-screening assessments to evaluate qualifications, availability, and cultural fit, as well as educating candidates on Abricare's mission, core values, and the exciting career opportunities available.
- • Maintaining consistent and proactive communication with candidates throughout the entire hiring process is vital for engagement and retention. You will also focus on building long-term relationships with candidates, even those not hired immediately, for potential future opportunities. Addressing candidate questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and empathetically is a key component of fostering a positive candidate journey.
- • Partnering closely with the HR team to guarantee a seamless handoff from the recruitment phase to the onboarding process is crucial for operational success. You will also coordinate effectively with the operations team to gain a deep understanding of current and future staffing needs and priorities. Providing valuable feedback on candidate quality and emerging market trends will inform recruitment strategies. Identifying and implementing process improvements to boost recruiting efficiency and effectiveness will be an ongoing objective. Staying current on local labor market trends, competitive intelligence, and best practices in caregiver recruitment is essential for maintaining a competitive edge.
- • This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for attending community events and job fairs, reflecting the hands-on nature of this outreach-focused position. Proficiency in social media recruiting and digital marketing tools will be leveraged to expand reach and engagement. Occasional flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate event schedules and candidate availability.
