Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the leadership team, you will be instrumental in attracting, evaluating, and securing exceptional talent across all departments.   • • This is a true player-builder position. You will not only be hands-on in executing full-cycle recruiting for critical roles but will also lay the groundwork for our future recruiting infrastructure. This includes establishing robust systems, defining best practices, and eventually building and mentoring a high-performing recruiting team to scale our hiring capacity in line with ambitious company objectives.
  • • **Key Responsibilities will include:**
  • • **Owning Full-Cycle Recruiting Across All Functions:** You will be the primary driver for sourcing, screening, and closing candidates for a diverse range of roles, encompassing engineering (product and platform), sales, go-to-market (GTM), client success, compliance, and operations. This involves managing multiple concurrent searches with a keen eye for maintaining both quality and an exceptional candidate experience.
  • • **Building Proactive Talent Pipelines:** A critical aspect of this role is to proactively develop deep talent pipelines for key positions before they become urgent needs, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified candidates.
  • • **Designing and Implementing Hiring Infrastructure:** You will architect and implement structured interview processes, develop standardized scorecards, and define clear evaluation criteria for various role types. This includes building repeatable hiring playbooks designed to maintain a high hiring bar while simultaneously increasing recruitment velocity.
  • • **Optimizing Recruitment Technology:** You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing workflows within our Ashby Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and developing insightful recruiting metrics dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • • **Partnering with Leadership on Talent Strategy:** Collaborate closely with hiring managers and the leadership team to precisely define role requirements, craft ideal candidate profiles, and establish competitive compensation bands. You will also provide strategic advice on organizational design and the optimal sequencing of hires to support overarching company goals.
  • • **Providing Market Intelligence:** Offer valuable insights into talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive dynamics within the market to inform strategic decision-making.
  • • **Driving Recruiting Excellence:** Take ownership of key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline conversion rates, and offer acceptance rates. Continuously refine sourcing channels and enhance the overall candidate experience.
  • • **Building the Employer Brand:** Actively contribute to building GovSignals' employer brand through the creation of compelling job descriptions, strategic outreach efforts, and engaging candidate touchpoints.
  • • **Scaling the Function:** Establish the foundational operational infrastructure and processes necessary to grow recruiting capacity as the company's hiring needs expand. Documenting these processes will be crucial for the future development of a dedicated recruiting team.
