- • Regional Account Executive at Flock Safety is a high-impact, mission-driven sales role focused on expanding the company’s public sector footprint in the Chicago territory by selling innovative safety technology that connects law enforcement, municipalities, schools, and businesses into a nationwide public-private safety network.
- • This role is critical to Flock’s growth strategy, as the Regional Account Executive will own end-to-end sales cycles, drive demand generation, and build strategic partnerships to increase adoption of Flock’s real-time intelligence platform, which is trusted by over 5,000 communities and 4,500 law enforcement agencies.
- • Day to day, the Regional Account Executive will prospect and qualify new leads through outbound sales strategies, conduct product demonstrations and consultations tailored to public sector clients, manage a full sales pipeline from initial contact to close, and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting.
- • The role involves building and nurturing relationships with law enforcement agencies, city officials, school districts, and business stakeholders, leveraging referrals and community engagement to expand territory penetration and identify new use cases for Flock’s technology.
- • The Regional Account Executive will collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers, sales directors, and cross-functional teams through weekly 1:1s, bi-weekly meetings, and in-person shadowing to refine sales tactics and ensure customer success post-sale.
- • Travel within the Chicago region is required up to 50% during peak seasons to conduct site visits, ride-alongs with law enforcement, community liaison meetings, and in-person demonstrations.
- • The individual will develop deep expertise in Flock’s hardware and software suite, becoming a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for clients on how the technology enhances public safety while upholding privacy and responsible innovation standards.
- • Success in this role is measured by pipeline generation, opportunity creation, and deal closure — with expectations to create 16+ opportunities and close the first deal within 60 days, scaling to 20+ opportunities and 7 closed deals by 90 days.
- • The Regional Account Executive will participate in Flock’s results-oriented 90-day onboarding plan, which includes market immersion, demo certification, peer integration, and progressive performance milestones designed to accelerate ramp-up and long-term success.
- • This role offers significant professional growth in enterprise sales, consultative selling, and public sector engagement within a high-valuation, fast-scaling tech company backed by nearly $700M in venture funding and a $7.5B valuation.
- • The individual will learn to navigate complex sales cycles in government and institutional markets, refine data-driven sales techniques, and contribute to a mission that directly impacts community safety and crime prevention.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5-7 years of full cycle sales experience, with a proven track record in outside/field software sales, preferably in public sector, government, or enterprise technology markets.
- • Demonstrated success using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory, including prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline development.
- • Strong presentation, demonstration, and consultative selling skills, with the ability to quickly learn technical products and act as a subject matter expert for clients.
- • Self-starter mentality with initiative, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven, startup-like environment.
- • Must reside locally in the Chicago, IL area to support regional travel requirements (up to 50% during peak seasons).
- • Ability to obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification, including passing a fingerprint-based background check per FBI CJIS Security Policy.
