As the Regional Commercial Lead for Sovereign Markets in EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our global expansion and establishing our presence in a critical and rapidly evolving sector.
  • • This is a senior commercial leadership position with the primary objective of driving sovereign revenue across the EMEA region. You will be entrusted with the entire deal lifecycle, from the initial stages of market development and intricate stakeholder mapping to the sophisticated structuring of commercial agreements and their successful closure. Your work will place you at the forefront of advanced technology adoption, requiring you to cultivate deep, trusted relationships with senior government officials and strategic partners. A key aspect of this role involves translating complex, multi-party engagements into robust, enduring, and mutually beneficial long-term partnerships. This is a high-ownership role, offering significant influence over Reflection's strategic direction and global growth trajectory.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass owning sovereign revenue generation by identifying, meticulously qualifying, and ultimately closing high-value sovereign contracts. You will be expected to lead complex, multi-party negotiations, guiding them from the initial stages of engagement right through to the final signed agreement. This requires a strategic mindset and the ability to manage intricate dynamics.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve building the regional strategy. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy tailored for the EMEA region. You will be responsible for prioritizing markets, key accounts, and strategic channels to ensure durable and sustainable revenue growth. This strategic planning is crucial for establishing a strong market foothold.
  • • Executive and government engagement is paramount. You will be tasked with building and nurturing trusted relationships with senior government officials, key decision-makers, and strategic partners across the region. Furthermore, you will represent Reflection AI in high-level commercial discussions, diplomatic forums, and industry events, acting as a key ambassador for the company.
  • • Opportunity development will be a continuous focus. You will proactively source and shape new business opportunities by diligently monitoring RFPs, staying abreast of geopolitical developments, and gathering critical regional intelligence. This proactive approach ensures a robust pipeline of potential deals. To facilitate this, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Product, Policy, Communications, Government Relations, and Finance, to structure competitive, executable, and compliant deals that meet the unique requirements of sovereign clients.
  • • Maintaining keen market intelligence is essential. You will continuously track evolving regulatory landscapes, monitor competitive activities, and analyze regional dynamics. The insights gained from this intelligence gathering will be translated into actionable commercial strategies, ensuring Reflection AI remains agile and competitive in the fast-paced AI market. This role demands a strategic thinker who can navigate complex geopolitical and commercial landscapes to drive significant business outcomes.
