  • • The Commercial Sales Engineer at Commvault serves as a technical sales advisor who bridges business needs with technical solutions, driving revenue by helping customers understand how Commvault’s cyber resilience platform addresses their data protection, security, and recovery challenges.
  • • Day to day, the role involves collaborating with account teams to develop territory and account strategies, engaging senior IT leadership to uncover technical and business challenges, designing and delivering product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and supporting channel partners with technical enablement.
  • • Commvault is a NASDAQ-listed leader in cyber resilience with over 25 years of experience, trusted by more than 100,000 organizations worldwide to protect data and ensure business continuity through its AI-powered platform that integrates data protection, security, intelligence, and rapid recovery.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise data management solutions, refine consultative selling and technical presentation skills, gain exposure to Fortune 500–1000 accounts, and grow as a trusted advisor influencing both customer outcomes and internal product development through feedback and innovation participation.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years in the software or storage industry with 3+ years of proven pre-sales sales engineer experience
  • • Proven experience delivering, presenting, and selling enterprise data management solutions including backup and recovery, data migration, replication, compliance, and SRM
  • • Solid knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as storage, servers, networking, cloud, and hyper-convergence
  • • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related technical field
  • • Ability to work remotely and autonomously with up to 50% travel required
