  • • Regional Director, Enterprise at Fivetran Inc. is a strategic leadership role responsible for building and scaling a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Executives to drive new business and expansion across Fivetran’s most strategic accounts, directly contributing to the company’s mission of making data access as simple and reliable as electricity.
  • • This role reports to the RVP of Enterprise Sales and serves as a foundational leader in Fivetran’s Enterprise business, operating remotely from MA, CT, RI, NH, or upstate NY, with a focus on predictable revenue growth through disciplined sales execution and team development.
  • • What the person will do day to day:
  • • Attract, hire, develop, and empower a team of Enterprise Account Executives to consistently and predictably exceed Fivetran’s growing Enterprise revenue targets through targeted recruitment, performance coaching, and career development initiatives.
  • • Drive a high-accountability culture by modeling clear expectations, providing best-in-class coaching, and evangelizing disciplined sales processes such as MEDDPICC and Command of the Message to ensure consistent execution across the team.
  • • Champion outstanding sales rigor through value-based selling methodologies, ensuring reps effectively articulate Fivetran’s business impact to economic buyers and stakeholders in complex enterprise deals.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Alliances, Product, and Revenue Operations leaders to build and refine an effective Enterprise go-to-market motion aligned with product capabilities and customer needs.
  • • Collaborate externally with systems integrators (SIs), global systems integrators (GSIs), and technology partners to enable co-selling motions and expand Fivetran’s reach in enterprise ecosystems.
  • • Ensure excellence in sales execution for complex multi-stakeholder deals by guiding deal strategy, forecasting accurately, and building foundational relationships that support long-term enterprise account growth.
  • • Drive AE ownership of pipeline generation by encouraging effective collaboration between Account Executives and Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to prospect, qualify, and sustain a healthy enterprise pipeline.
  • • Forecast clearly and accurately to the executive leadership team, leveraging deep knowledge of the Enterprise business to provide reliable predictions and insights for strategic decision-making.
  • • Work in lockstep with technology and SI partners to achieve successful co-selling outcomes, aligning joint efforts to deliver integrated solutions that meet enterprise customer demands.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of enterprise sales leadership experience with a proven track record of recruiting, retaining, and developing high-performing senior Account Executives selling technical solutions to large, complex enterprises.
  • • Demonstrated history of overachievement as both an enterprise seller and leader, consistently exceeding revenue targets and accelerating team members’ careers under your leadership.
  • • Natural ability to lead and motivate Account Executives through periods of growth and change, earning trust and respect by fostering a One Team, One Dream mindset.
  • • Passion for field sales, including a willingness to engage directly with economic buyers, provide executive air coverage, and close new and expansion opportunities through face-to-face interactions with reps, prospects, customers, and partners.
  • • Expertise in both land and expand sales motions, with a data-backed vision for how Fivetran drives business outcomes in enterprise environments and a deep curiosity about customer needs.
  • • Experience building and championing an outbound selling culture, driving accountability for qualified pipeline generation through effective AE/BDR collaboration.
