📋 Description
- • The Regional Director, Field Reimbursement – Neuro is a strategic and operational leader responsible for building, leading, and optimizing a team of Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) to support the launch and growth of a rare disease therapy in neurology, ensuring patient access across complex reimbursement landscapes.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and developing a high-performing FRM team, translating market access strategy into field execution, ensuring readiness in coverage policy, prior authorization, coding, billing, and claims submission, and proactively addressing access barriers during early launch phases.
- • The role involves deep engagement with provider accounts, specialty pharmacies, infusion centers, and cross-functional partners in Market Access, Patient Services, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Trade to align field efforts with broader access strategy and support complex patient cases.
- • The Director will ensure compliant field support within REMS program requirements, drive performance through KPI tracking (time to fill, approval rates, patient conversion, site-of-care shifts), and provide field insights to inform access program design, forecasting, and strategy adjustments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of progressive industry or relevant professional experience
- • 5+ years of direct people management experience managing a field reimbursement or sales team
- • Buy & Bill and/or specialty pharmacy product experience required
- • Experience with REMS programs (preferred)
- • Background in neurology (preferred)
- • Experience navigating white bagging and site-of-care identification and optimization (preferred)
