  • • As a Regional Manager for Continuum of Care at Premier Inc., you will be a pivotal field-based sales professional responsible for driving membership growth and retention across the Delaware Valley region, encompassing Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
  • • This dynamic role demands a significant client-facing presence, requiring 60-80% travel per week (3-4 days) to engage with a diverse range of healthcare providers and facilities.
  • • Your primary mission will be to recruit new members into Premier's network and to nurture and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring they fully leverage the value of Premier's contract portfolio and services.
  • • The role offers the opportunity to specialize in one or more key healthcare sectors, including Behavioral Health (inpatient facilities, rehabilitation), Infusion Services (home infusion providers, specialty pharmacies, physician offices), Long Term Care (pharmacies serving skilled nursing, assisted living, correctional facilities), Senior Living (independent living, CCRCs, hospitality), and Strategic Accounts (assisted living, independent living, CCRCs).
  • • A substantial portion of your time, approximately 70%, will be dedicated to cultivating new client opportunities through a strategic blend of direct outreach and telephone contact, including cold calling and active prospecting.
  • • You will be expected to continuously gather market intelligence to identify and pursue new leads, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential members.
  • • Delivering compelling presentations that articulate the comprehensive value of Premier's contract portfolio and specialized services will be a core responsibility, demonstrating how Premier can drive cost savings and operational efficiencies for clients.
  • • Collaboration with internal teams will be essential to ensure seamless account setup and follow-up, guaranteeing a positive client experience from initial engagement through to ongoing support.
  • • Approximately 20% of your role will focus on maintaining and strengthening relationships with the existing member base through regular visits.
  • • You will educate current members on Premier's value-added programs, conduct comprehensive analyses of their purchasing patterns to identify further savings opportunities, and reinforce the benefits of their continued partnership.
  • • The remaining 10% of your responsibilities will involve essential administrative and follow-up tasks, such as processing new and existing member paperwork, ensuring focus contracts remain current, completing monthly expense reports, and scheduling appointments.
  • • You will also represent Premier at industry trade shows and internal meetings as required, expanding your professional network and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • • Success in this role hinges on your ability to consistently achieve sales goals, drive new business growth, and effectively manage client relationships within a defined geographic territory.
  • • The role requires a proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong emphasis on understanding the unique needs of various healthcare settings and tailoring Premier's offerings to meet those needs.
  • • You will be instrumental in helping healthcare organizations navigate complex procurement landscapes, optimize their supply chains, and ultimately improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the healthcare industry by connecting providers with valuable resources and solutions that enhance their operational and financial performance.
  • • The remote nature of the role, combined with extensive travel, provides autonomy and the chance to experience diverse professional environments across the Delaware Valley region.
  • • You will be empowered to make independent decisions and adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and client priorities, ensuring Premier remains a trusted partner in the continuum of care.
  • • Your ability to communicate effectively, both in person and through electronic means, will be crucial for building rapport and conveying complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • • This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
