  • • As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Illumio's groundbreaking breach containment platform, powered by the Illumio AI Security Graph. This platform is designed to identify and contain threats across complex hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring the continuity of critical operations.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and nurture strong, lasting relationships with both technical stakeholders and executive leadership within your assigned territory. This involves understanding their unique challenges and demonstrating how Illumio's solutions can address their most pressing security concerns and business objectives.
  • • You will be instrumental in articulating the value proposition of Illumio's platform through compelling presentations, both in live, in-person settings and through engaging remote webinars. Your ability to connect with diverse audiences, from deep technical experts to C-suite executives, will be crucial to your success.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve uncovering and deeply understanding the desired business outcomes of our prospective clients. You will then strategically align all sales activities and solution demonstrations to these specific outcomes, ensuring that our proposed solutions directly contribute to their strategic goals.
  • • Delivering powerful, use-case-driven demonstrations and customer success stories will be a core competency. You will showcase the practical application and tangible benefits of Illumio's technology, illustrating how it effectively mitigates risk and enhances security posture.
  • • You will actively support the progression of deals, participating in crucial Proof of Value (POV) engagements and customer meetings, whether conducted remotely or face-to-face. Your expertise will be vital in navigating complex sales cycles and ensuring customer confidence.
  • • Beyond direct sales activities, you will contribute to Illumio's thought leadership within the cybersecurity industry. This includes authoring insightful blog posts, contributing to white papers, and participating in other content creation initiatives that highlight our expertise and the evolving threat landscape.
  • • You will also collaborate closely with our channel partners, assisting them in their enablement efforts and co-selling on deals. Maximizing mutual benefit and fostering strong partner relationships will be key to expanding our market reach.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales technical role, specifically focused on managing and closing enterprise-level accounts.
  • • Deep and expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following critical areas: cloud migration strategies, services offered by major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, cloud-native development principles, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • • A solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the associated tooling, with a particular emphasis on applications developed for cloud-native environments.
  • • Proven ability to connect a customer's specific business challenges and strategic objectives to the technical capabilities and business value of Illumio's solutions, effectively demonstrating ROI and risk reduction.
  • • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both highly technical audiences and executive leadership, whether through impromptu whiteboard sessions, polished presentations, or live demonstrations.
