- • As a Regional Sales Manager for the South Central region, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption and success of Axis Communications' cutting-edge IP video and security solutions across a dynamic territory, with a primary focus on the Greater Houston Area.
- • Your core mission will involve actively promoting and educating a diverse range of stakeholders, including system integrators, distributors, security consultants, and end-users, on the significant benefits and advanced capabilities of Axis's IP video technology and comprehensive camera offerings.
- • You will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing robust, long-term relationships with both prospective clients and existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to proactively arrange and expertly execute on-site visits, where you will conduct compelling product demonstrations, deliver insightful presentations, host informative lunch-and-learn sessions, and lead engaging speaking seminars to showcase the value proposition of Axis solutions.
- • You will collaborate closely with Axis Communications' Application Development Partners (ADPs) to ensure seamless integration and to present unified, powerful solutions to the market.
- • Your expertise will be called upon to recommend the most appropriate camera solutions tailored to specific customer needs and to provide clear, effective product comparisons that highlight Axis's competitive advantages.
- • You will be a visible and active participant in crucial industry events, including trade shows, specialized seminars, Axis Academies, and webinars, to expand market reach and generate new business opportunities.
- • A critical component of your success will be the meticulous preparation and submission of weekly sales reports, detailing progress on both new project pipelines and existing customer accounts.
- • You will be expected to perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the overall success of the sales team and the company.
- • This role demands a proactive and independent drive, coupled with exceptional selling skills that emphasize active listening and the ability to tailor presentations precisely to meet diverse customer requirements.
- • You will need to demonstrate an ability to effectively motivate yourself and potentially others in a fast-paced, time-sensitive sales environment, consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
- • A trustworthy and resourceful disposition is essential, enabling you to navigate challenges and build strong rapport with clients and internal teams.
- • Strong public speaking skills are paramount for delivering impactful presentations and representing Axis Communications effectively in various forums.
- • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills are crucial for juggling multiple projects, client interactions, and administrative duties while maintaining a high level of performance.
- • You will be expected to travel between 50%-70% of the time to effectively cover your assigned territory, engage with clients, and attend industry events.
- • This is a permanent employment opportunity offering a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $140,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings), dependent on your education, experience, and location.
