Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full sales cycle across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland—an influential five-state territory that represents a critical growth engine for DME. You will craft and execute a data-driven regional sales strategy that aligns with corporate objectives, translating ambitious revenue targets into quarterly action plans that your team can rally behind.
- • Spend your days in the field (50-75 % travel, including overnights) cultivating deep, consultative relationships with mold makers, injection molders, and plastics manufacturers. You will uncover latent pain points, match them to DME’s unmatched catalog of mold technologies, and negotiate complex, multi-year agreements that secure long-term wallet share.
- • Leverage Salesforce CRM to maintain a real-time, 360-degree view of every account and opportunity. You will analyze win/loss data, identify whitespace, and continuously refine your pipeline to exceed KPIs while providing transparent forecasting to senior leadership.
- • Serve as the voice of the customer internally. You will synthesize market intelligence—competitive moves, pricing pressures, emerging design trends—into concise briefs that steer product development, marketing campaigns, and inventory planning.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional Centers of Excellence around the globe to tailor solutions that lower customers’ total cost of ownership. Whether it’s a specialty hot-runner system manufactured in Europe or a rapid-delivery standard component from North America, you will orchestrate the right mix of products and services to outpace the competition.
- • Represent DME at key trade shows, technical symposiums, and industry associations. Your thought-leadership presentations will elevate brand perception, generate qualified leads, and position DME as the indispensable partner for tomorrow’s plastics challenges.
- • Mentor and coach a distributed network of sales representatives and agents. Through ride-alongs, joint calls, and quarterly business reviews, you will instill best-practice selling behaviors, ensure consistent value messaging, and build a resilient succession pipeline.
- • Prepare and deliver executive-level sales reports—monthly, quarterly, and annually—that illuminate performance trends, competitive threats, and strategic opportunities. Your insights will directly influence budget allocation and go-to-market priorities.
- • Champion Hillenbrand’s purpose—“Shape What Matters for Tomorrow”—by embedding sustainability, diversity, and ethical business practices into every customer conversation and internal initiative.
