Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact finance transformation initiatives that touch general accounting, payroll, and invoicing for a fast-growing healthcare talent platform. You will shepherd projects from initial opportunity assessment through post-implementation value realization, ensuring every milestone is met on time, on budget, and with measurable quality gains.
- • Translate complex finance pain points into crisp project charters, detailed work-breakdown structures, and risk-mitigation plans. You will balance competing priorities, negotiate resource needs, and secure executive sponsorship while keeping the day-to-day workstream moving at speed.
- • Build and maintain a living portfolio roadmap that shows how individual projects ladder up to enterprise-level goals such as cost-to-serve reduction, cycle-time compression, and data-integrity improvement. You will update this roadmap monthly in partnership with the Senior Director, Transformation, and socialize it across finance leadership.
- • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions that bring together AP clerks, payroll specialists, controllers, and operations leaders to co-design future-state workflows. Your facilitation style is inclusive, data-driven, and action-oriented—turning whiteboard sketches into documented standard operating procedures within days, not weeks.
- • Drive disciplined change management by crafting communication plans, training materials, and quick-reference guides that demystify new processes for a workforce distributed across multiple states and time zones. You will measure adoption through pulse surveys and KPI dashboards, iterating until 90 % of users report confidence in the new way of working.
- • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by embedding Lean Six Sigma concepts—such as value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, and control charts—into every project. You will coach team members on how to spot waste, quantify impact, and propose countermeasures without waiting for formal project approval.
- • Serve as the single source of truth for project status by maintaining real-time dashboards in Excel or Power BI, publishing concise executive summaries, and flagging risks before they become roadblocks. Your reporting cadence includes weekly stand-ups, monthly steering-committee reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
- • Strengthen stakeholder relationships across finance and operations by hosting informal coffee chats, lunch-and-learns, and recognition events that celebrate quick wins. You will act as a connector who breaks down silos and fosters a shared sense of purpose around operational excellence.
- • Support ad-hoc strategic requests such as M&A integration planning, system-selection RFPs, or regulatory-compliance readiness assessments. You will flex between high-level strategy and granular task management without losing momentum on your core portfolio.
- • Travel up to 15 % to regional shared-service centers or partner hospitals to observe current-state processes, validate assumptions, and build rapport with frontline staff. Your presence on-site accelerates trust and surfaces insights that cannot be captured in virtual meetings.
