- • Provide day-to-day collaborative support to internal Medical and Psychiatric providers to ensure seamless patient care for a dedicated panel of medically stable patients.
- • Monitor and triage lab orders and results, communicating provider instructions to patients and families in alignment with established clinical protocols.
- • Serve as the primary liaison on the RN phone line to coordinate care between internal teams and external healthcare providers.
- • Triage emergent patient issues in a time-sensitive manner using Equip’s approved triage protocols to ensure timely clinical intervention.
- • Deliver condition-specific education to patients and families regarding eating disorder medical management and recovery support.
- • Complete and manage accommodation paperwork required for patient care plans and institutional compliance.
- • Coordinate care transitions with hospitals during medical stabilization admissions, ensuring continuity as patients move between levels of care or return to Equip’s virtual program.
- • Perform solo virtual visits as needed to assess patient status, provide clinical support, and reinforce care plans.
- • Manage multiple concurrent patient requests and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining adherence to confidentiality and clinical standards.
- • Work autonomously within defined clinical procedures and protocols, demonstrating strong self-direction and accountability in a fully remote environment.
- • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including therapists, dietitians, physicians, and peer and family mentors to support holistic patient recovery.
- • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, care coordination efforts, and clinical observations in accordance with Equip’s electronic health record systems.
- • Support the operational flow of the virtual care model by ensuring timely follow-up on pending lab results, provider referrals, and external provider communications.
- • Uphold Equip’s commitment to equity and inclusion by providing culturally competent care that respects diverse backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.
- • Adhere to all state-specific nursing licensure requirements and maintain active, unrestricted RN licensure in at least one U.S. state, with compact licensure preferred.
- • Utilize standard office equipment and telehealth platforms to perform all duties remotely, with no requirement for in-person travel or on-site presence.
- • Contribute to a high-performing, compassionate, and mission-driven team culture focused on expanding access to evidence-based eating disorder treatment across all 50 states.
🎯 Requirements
- • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in at least one U.S. state; compact license preferred
- • 2+ years of experience as an RN in clinic, homecare, ambulatory, hospital, or inpatient settings
- • Proven experience coordinating care across multiple providers and patient support systems
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities, triage emergent issues, and adhere strictly to clinical protocols
- • Excellent communication skills with a high level of confidentiality and empathy
- • Experience working autonomously within structured clinical guidelines in a remote or virtual care environment

- • Annual base pay range of $77,000 to $92,000 plus 15% annual performance-based bonus potential
