Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Weekend Anchor role at Ansible Health, you will serve as a critical clinical steward for high-risk patients during the pivotal weekend window, preventing avoidable hospitalizations by transforming complex physiological data into proactive, life-saving interventions through a high-tech, high-touch virtual care model.
- • You will work a consistent, fixed 40-hour schedule from Saturday through Tuesday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST, providing elite work-life harmony while acting as the steady, expert presence for patients when traditional care systems are often stretched thin, partnering closely with a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to co-manage care and escalate concerns in real-time.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring real-time physiological alerts (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, weight) via the company’s proprietary portal to differentiate between stable and urgent conditions, conducting telemedicine visits for patient education and supervising telehealth exercise sessions to improve mobility and function, serving as the continuous point of contact for patients and families by activating community resources for social determinants of health such as transportation, nutrition, and housing, and collaborating daily with Nurse Practitioners, physicians, and engineers to refine clinical dashboards and care models based on frontline insights.
- • You will join a mission-driven, meritocratic team backed by top-tier investors (Bessemer, First Round) and led by experts from Google, Johns Hopkins, and Columbia, where your clinical expertise and innovative mindset directly influence the evolution of tools and protocols designed to keep high-risk patients out of the hospital through vigilant, tech-enabled chronic disease management.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced skills in remote patient monitoring, virtual care delivery, and clinical-tech collaboration, positioning yourself as one of the most capable remote clinicians in the country through intensive mentorship structured as a clinical residency during your first year, while championing a human-centric approach to healthcare that challenges fragmented systems and advocates for patients falling through the cracks of traditional medicine.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with multistate/compact (NLC) licensure required
- • 5+ years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, ER, or ICU, including 1+ years focused specifically on chronic cardiopulmonary conditions (CHF/COPD)
- • Proven ability to quickly learn new software platforms, with experience using Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet) for professional communication and office needs
- • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and a dedicated, quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office environment
- • BSN preferred; ADN required as minimum education qualification
🏖️ Benefits
- • Intensive mentorship program treating the first year as a clinical residency to accelerate expertise in remote chronic care management
- • Opportunity to join a mission-driven team focused on preventing predictable emergencies and reducing hospitalizations for high-risk patients
- • Direct impact on clinical tool development and care model innovation through collaboration with engineers and clinicians
- • Meritocratic culture that values innovative thinking and rewards clinicians who challenge the status quo to improve patient outcomes
- • Fixed weekend schedule (Saturday–Tuesday, 9 AM–7 PM EST) enabling strong work-life balance while delivering critical care during high-risk windows
