📋 Description

• A part-time Pharmacy Technician role at Phil, Inc., a Series D health-tech startup building a platform to streamline prescription access between doctors, pharmacies, and patients, directly improving medication adherence and patient wellbeing.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include entering electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions into pharmacy software, verifying patient insurance coverage, initiating and submitting prior authorizations via payer-specific portals, troubleshooting authorization issues with providers, ensuring accurate medical documentation using ICD-10 codes and drug names, coordinating with prescriber offices and partner pharmacies, documenting activities in the operating system, and navigating multiple systems flexibly based on workload.
• The team is mission-driven, analytical, and passionate about transforming healthcare through technology, operating remotely with pharmacy hours from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm MST, Monday through Friday, requiring flexibility for opening and closing shifts.

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona or Ohio (required)
• PTCB Certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Ability to work flexible shifts between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm MST, Monday through Friday
• Proficient in navigating multiple systems including operational software and vendor portals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with prescribers, insurers, and pharmacies
