  • • You will own the end-to-end sourcing process, meticulously crafting and executing advanced strategies to build robust talent pipelines. This involves leveraging a sophisticated toolkit, including expert-level proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search techniques, to uncover passive candidates who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
  • • Your role extends beyond simple candidate identification; you will be a key partner to our internal recruiting team and hiring stakeholders. By deeply understanding the nuances of each role and the ideal candidate profile, you will provide invaluable market insights, competitor landscape data, and candidate feedback to influence and shape our hiring strategies.
  • • A significant aspect of this role is cultivating and nurturing relationships with potential candidates. You will employ personalized and compelling outreach methods designed to capture interest and convert passive talent into actively engaged prospects. This includes maintaining long-term relationships with individuals in your network, ensuring Kong remains top-of-mind for future opportunities.
  • • You will be expected to utilize a wide array of creative sourcing tools and platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, exploring niche forums, online communities, developer platforms like GitHub and Stack Overflow, and other alternative outreach channels to connect with talent that is often difficult to reach through traditional methods.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work hand-in-hand with recruiters and hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor. Your ability to translate business needs into effective sourcing strategies will be crucial for success.
  • • You will also play a vital role in process excellence, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key sourcing metrics. This data-driven approach will help us measure pipeline health, assess engagement success, and demonstrate the overall impact of your sourcing efforts on our hiring objectives.
  • • As a senior member of the team, you will be a thought leader in the sourcing space. This includes advocating for and educating the broader recruiting team on best practices, emerging tools, and current trends in talent acquisition. You may also have the opportunity to mentor junior sourcers, sharing your expertise and fostering their development.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of dedicated sourcing experience in a high-growth or technical environment.
  • • Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean techniques.
  • • Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
  • • Excellent communicator with strong outreach and networking capabilities.
  • • Comfortable managing multiple search priorities with a bias for results.
  • • Must reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.
