- • Monitor, interpret, and analyze gambling regulations across multiple jurisdictions including the UK, Greece, Sweden, Peru, Gibraltar, Romania, Ontario, and the Isle of Man to ensure continuous compliance.
- • Support the end-to-end licensing process for new and existing markets, including application preparation, submission, and follow-up with regulatory authorities.
- • Coordinate and manage regulatory audits, preparing documentation, facilitating internal reviews, and ensuring timely responses to auditor requests.
- • Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports and filings required by gaming authorities, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and formatting standards.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, managing communications, responding to inquiries, and documenting all interactions.
- • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date compliance records, including licensing status, regulatory changes, and internal control procedures.
- • Advise internal teams across product, engineering, marketing, and finance on evolving compliance obligations and how they impact business operations.
- • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s data protection framework in alignment with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
- • Conduct and oversee data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), and ensure accurate data mapping and retention policies are documented and enforced.
- • Identify gaps in current compliance and privacy practices and initiate improvements to internal controls, policies, and workflows.
- • Proactively track regulatory changes in target markets and translate them into actionable compliance steps for cross-functional teams.
- • Collaborate with international teams to ensure consistent application of compliance and data protection standards across all operational regions.
- • Support market entry projects by evaluating regulatory requirements and conducting compliance gap analyses prior to launch.
- • Ensure all data privacy initiatives are aligned with legal obligations and company risk tolerance, minimizing exposure to regulatory penalties or reputational harm.
- • Train and educate staff on compliance protocols and data protection best practices through internal communications and awareness sessions.
- • Maintain relationships with external legal and compliance advisors, leveraging expert input to strengthen internal frameworks.
- • Stay current with global trends in online gaming regulation and data privacy legislation to anticipate future compliance needs.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in iGaming regulatory compliance, preferably within B2B gaming, legal, or advisory environments
- • Strong knowledge of gambling regulations in key markets including the UK, Greece, Sweden, Peru, Gibraltar, Romania, Ontario, and the Isle of Man
- • Proven experience with licensing, regulatory reporting, audits, and regulator communications
- • Understanding of GDPR and other data privacy laws, with hands-on experience in DPIAs, RoPA, and data mapping
- • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- • Ability to interpret complex regulatory changes and translate them into actionable business steps
