📋 Description
- • The Regulatory Specialist Senior role at SSM Health Care Corporation is a newly created, full-time position supporting post-acute services, ensuring regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness across home health and hospice operations in Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining continual readiness for Joint Commission and CMS surveys, interpreting and educating staff on regulatory standards, coordinating survey activities, leading tracers and audits, developing action plans for compliance issues, and facilitating communication of findings to administrative teams.
- • The role operates within the Clinical Excellence department, working collaboratively with leaders, clinicians, and staff to build and sustain an integrated regulatory compliance program, with a high degree of autonomy in establishing and growing oversight processes.
- • The incumbent will deepen expertise in Joint Commission, CMS Conditions of Participation, and state licensing standards, gain leadership experience in regulatory coordination, and contribute to organizational risk reduction and accreditation success through data-driven process improvement and survey readiness initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree
- • Three years' experience
- • Senior-level regulatory experience, preferably with Joint Commission accreditation in home health and hospice (hospital or long-term care experience also considered)
