- • As a Relationship Manager at Allica Bank, you will play a pivotal role in supporting established SMEs across the Central Belt by building trusted, long-term relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions that drive business growth and community impact.
- • Day to day, you will manage a portfolio of SME customers, understand their financial needs and aspirations, originate lending opportunities from enquiry to completion, write credit papers aligned with bank policy, and collaborate internally to ensure seamless service delivery while actively acquiring new business through your professional network.
- • You will join a fast-growing, purpose-driven Relationship Manager team formed in 2022 that is central to Allica Bank’s strategy of reimagining relationship banking for SMEs through exceptional people, products, and digital tools, operating within the UK’s fastest-growing fintech firm.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in SME banking and commercial lending, strengthen your ability to structure and write credit proposals, expand your network of trusted professional advisors, and grow as a self-starting, entrepreneurial business developer recognised as a valued partner in the local business community.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record as a Relationship Manager and Business Developer with experience building high-value, trust-based, long-term referral relationships
- • Strong understanding of SME banking, including a background in commercial lending
- • Demonstrated history of exemplary customer service and ability to maximise value with prospects and customers
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with evidence of strong career progression or outperformance
- • Ability to analyse and review financial accounts and associated information to structure lending proposals and write credit applications
- • Passion for SMEs, self-starter mindset, and entrepreneurial approach to work
