- • As a Relationship Manager at Allica Bank, you will play a pivotal role in supporting established SMEs across the Thames Valley region, helping to reimagine relationship banking through personalized service, financial solutions, and trusted advisory partnerships. Your work directly contributes to the bank’s mission of serving one of the last major underserved segments in UK finance.
- • Day to day, you will manage a portfolio of SME customers, understand their business goals and financial needs, identify opportunities to support them with Allica Bank products such as Business Current Accounts, Commercial Loans, Asset Finance, and Working Capital Facilities, originate lending opportunities from enquiry to completion, write credit papers in line with bank policy, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- • You will join a growing Relationship Manager team established in 2022, operating within Allica Bank – the UK’s fastest-growing company and fastest-ever growing fintech firm – dedicated to serving established SMEs that form the backbone of local communities but have been historically overlooked by traditional and fintech providers alike.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in SME banking and relationship-driven business development, build a trusted network of professional advisors (accountants, solicitors, business organisations), enhance your skills in credit analysis and financial structuring, and grow as a recognized expert and valued partner in business finance within your local community.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record as a Relationship Manager and Business Developer with experience building high-value, trust-based, long-term referral relationships
- • Strong background in commercial lending and a solid understanding of SME banking
- • Demonstrated history of delivering exemplary customer service and maximizing value with prospects and customers
- • Ability to analyse and review financial accounts and associated information to support lending decisions
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with evidence of strong career progression or outperformance
- • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and genuine passion for supporting SMEs
