- • Own and manage the complete release lifecycle including planning, scheduling, coordination, deployment, and validation across multiple products and environments.
- • Drive end-to-end release processes to ensure predictable, high-quality releases aligned with product and engineering timelines.
- • Coordinate closely with engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams to align release cadences, dependencies, and deliverables.
- • Lead QA certification efforts by ensuring all release candidates meet defined quality gates and compliance standards before deployment.
- • Implement and improve test automation frameworks to enhance release quality, reduce manual testing overhead, and accelerate feedback loops.
- • Identify, track, and mitigate release risks across environments, including production, staging, and pre-production systems.
- • Maintain release documentation, including release notes, rollback plans, and deployment runbooks for all supported products.
- • Monitor release health post-deployment and collaborate with support and operations teams to address post-release issues promptly.
- • Establish and enforce release policies and standards to ensure consistency, traceability, and auditability across all releases.
- • Work with product managers to prioritize release content based on business impact, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- • Facilitate release readiness reviews and cross-functional syncs to ensure all teams are aligned on release scope, timelines, and rollback procedures.
- • Analyze release metrics such as failure rates, deployment frequency, and mean time to recovery to continuously improve release efficiency and reliability.
- • Champion a culture of quality and accountability by promoting best practices in testing, automation, and deployment hygiene across teams.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related escalations and ensure timely communication of release status to stakeholders.
- • Collaborate with DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster, safer, and more reliable releases.
- • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements relevant to software releases in regulated industries such as medical devices or manufacturing.

- • Proven experience managing end-to-end release lifecycles in a SaaS or software product environment
- • Demonstrated expertise in driving QA processes and implementing test automation
- • Strong coordination skills across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams
- • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools
- • Familiarity with release documentation, rollback procedures, and release governance
- • Ability to analyze release metrics and drive continuous improvement in release quality
