- • Answer incoming calls and emails from customers traveling or interested in purchasing/researching travel, following standardized scripts and procedures.
- • Greet and converse with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner to ensure positive customer interactions.
- • Convert customer inquiries into sales by effectively using selling techniques to meet revenue and close rate goals.
- • Research travel rates, destinations, options, and packages to provide accurate and compelling information to customers.
- • Read provided scripts verbatim while maintaining sales and quality standards during customer interactions.
- • Accurately answer general travel-related questions and provide suggestions and options that meet customer needs and encourage purchases.
- • Process calls to achieve or exceed daily performance metrics while maintaining average talk times aligned with business requirements.
- • Meet or exceed established quality standards for customer service and sales performance.
- • Promote and sell travel products or services, including soliciting new or additional services during customer interactions.
- • Accurately track and report call types and service issues to support operational reporting and improvement.
- • Utilize GDS platform tools (training provided) to manage reservations, itineraries, and customer requests.
- • Handle inquiries and requests for changes or cancellations to existing travel itineraries with precision and efficiency.
- • Work within a hybrid remote work model, performing all duties from home with no travel requirements.
- • Operate on a schedule of Monday to Friday, with 9-hour shifts between 8 AM and 9 PM.
- • Maintain compliance with company policies, data accuracy standards, and customer service protocols.
- • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure consistent service delivery and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school degree or equivalent (required)
- • Two years of customer sales, upsales, telemarketing, and service experience (required)
- • Two years of corporate or leisure travel industry experience (required)
- • One year of international booking experience (required)
- • Strong communication skills in English to serve clients across Canada and worldwide (required)
- • College or some college degree (preferred)
