- • Lead a small team of 3 engineers working on data-intensive systems that power RoomPriceGenie’s pricing platform, directly impacting how hotels optimize revenue through data-driven decisions.
- • Drive technical direction and delivery of projects involving large-scale data processing, modeling, and exposure while maintaining high standards for system reliability, data correctness, performance, and maintainability.
- • Join a remote-first, globally distributed team at RoomPriceGenie AG, a recognized leader in hotel tech (Best Place to Work in Hotel Tech 2026, Best Revenue Management Software 2026), operating on a modern data stack including Snowflake, Databricks, Dagster, dbt, and AWS.
- • Grow as a technical leader by staying hands-on through code reviews, architecture discussions, and coding, while mentoring engineers in system design, data modeling, and scalable architecture evolution.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience building and operating production systems
- • Experience leading engineers or technical initiatives (e.g., Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, Engineering Manager)
- • Experience working with data platforms, distributed systems, or large-scale data pipelines
- • Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and operational reliability
- • Fluent in English and based in the European time zone (UTC+0 to UTC+2)
- • Experience with modern data tooling such as Snowflake, dbt, Dagster or similar technologies is a strong plus
