- • Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
- • Convert Zillow-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up, borrower consultation, and timely execution.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and, where applicable, with Zillow Preferred Agents and local real estate partners.
- • Manage an active loan pipeline while meeting defined service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations in a performance-driven environment.
- • Leverage Zillow’s CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools to monitor pipeline health, track customer engagement, and optimize workflow efficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure seamless and efficient loan movement from origination to funding.
- • Deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience through phone, email, and text communication, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism at every touchpoint.
- • Stay current on evolving market trends, lending programs, and federal/state regulatory requirements to provide tailored financing solutions to borrowers.
- • Maintain active NMLS licensing, complete required continuing education, and participate in ongoing professional development to remain compliant and competent.
- • Operate in either a high-volume, phone-based, lead-driven environment or a consultative, market-focused model centered on Zillow Preferred Agents, based on individual strengths and team alignment.
- • Collect, store, and use voiceprints (speech recordings) for operational, compliance, and quality assurance purposes as part of standard business practices.
- • Work remotely from a principal place of residence physically located within the state of Hawaii, with optional time spent at company offices.
- • Adhere to all company policies, performance KPIs, and ethical standards in a structured, metrics-based organization supported by Zillow’s brand and technology platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions, either as an active NMLS Loan Originator with state licenses or as a Loan Originator under a federal bank license.
- • Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
- • Physically located in and working remotely from Hawaii.
- • Proven success originating purchase loans in either a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model.
- • Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
- • Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
