- • Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- • Convert company-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and effective borrower consultation.
- • Build strong relationships with customers and, where applicable, with Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
- • Manage an active loan pipeline while meeting defined service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations.
- • Leverage Zillow’s CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools to monitor pipeline health and enhance customer engagement.
- • Partner with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure efficient loan movement and timely closings.
- • Deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience through phone, email, and text communication.
- • Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulatory requirements to provide tailored financing solutions.
- • Maintain active NMLS licensing, complete required continuing education, and participate in ongoing professional development.
- • Operate in either a high-volume, phone-based, lead-driven environment or a consultative, market-based model focused on Zillow Preferred Agents, depending on strengths and team alignment.
- • Collect, store, and use voiceprints (speech records) for operational and compliance purposes as part of daily responsibilities.
- • Work remotely from a principal place of residence physically located within the state of New Mexico, with optional time spent at company offices.
- • Adhere to a structured, performance-driven environment with clearly defined KPIs and metrics-based evaluation.
- • Utilize Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily workflow and documentation.
- • Ensure all activities comply with federal, state, and local lending laws and Zillow Group policies.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions
- • Active NMLS Loan Originator license with state authorization or under a federal bank license
- • Physically located in and working remotely from New Mexico
- • Completion of 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and passing of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content
- • Proven success originating purchase loans in either a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model
- • Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
