- • Provide evidence-based nutrition care to patients with eating disorders through a virtual, family-based treatment model, supporting recovery via telehealth sessions.
- • Develop and implement individualized meal plans aligned with Equip’s feeding philosophy, including prescription of target weight ranges and exposure to fear/challenge foods.
- • Conduct initial nutrition assessments and ongoing reassessments of patients’ nutritional needs, adjusting treatment plans weekly based on progress and clinical concerns.
- • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams—including therapists, physicians, and peer/family mentors—to ensure unified, cohesive care delivery and consistent messaging to families.
- • Educate patients and families on challenging irrational beliefs about food, weight, and shape using evidence-based nutrition education techniques.
- • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation within Equip’s electronic medical record system in accordance with company policies and clinical standards.
- • Support discharge planning by evaluating patient readiness and coordinating transition strategies with the care team and family.
- • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with families, including rapport building, boundary setting, and alignment with treatment goals.
- • Echo treatment team directives in all family interactions to present a united front and reinforce clinical recommendations.
- • Manage a caseload of up to 80 patients, each receiving care for up to 52 weeks, with weekly updates and ongoing clinical monitoring.
- • Deliver 29 hours per week of direct patient care, including new patient evaluations and follow-up sessions, with a minimum of 16 hours weekly after 2 p.m. in the patient’s timezone.
- • Work until 8 p.m. on two evenings per week (chosen by provider) to accommodate patient scheduling across U.S. time zones.
- • Attend mandatory clinical meetings including Group Supervision, Treatment Huddles, Labs, All Hands, and Individual Supervision.
- • Operate 100% remotely from home with no travel requirements; use company-provided laptop and home office stipends to support remote work.
- • Adhere to all licensure requirements in Idaho and maintain active RDN credentials in good standing.
- • Reimburse fees for initial licensure and renewals, including exam fees and study materials, as required for state compliance.
- • Participate in continuing education through unlimited online courses via NetCE and utilize up to $1,000/year stipend for additional professional development.

🎯 Requirements
- • Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with active licensure in Idaho
- • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- • Experience working with eating disorder patients, preferably with exposure to family-based treatment (FBT) approaches
- • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 patients and provide 29 hours/week of direct patient care
- • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary team environments
- • Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, virtual clinic with rapid innovation and change
