Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as the primary travel advisor for Fortune-500 and mid-market corporate clients, designing seamless domestic and international itineraries that span air, rail, road, and lodging across all complexity levels—from straightforward point-to-point trips to multi-leg, multi-destination journeys with tight connection windows and VIP service needs.
- • Own the end-to-end reservation lifecycle: consult with travelers or travel arrangers via phone, email, or chat to uncover preferences, budget parameters, and policy constraints; research optimal routings, fare families, and ancillary services; quote, book, ticket, and quality-check every PNR in Sabre to ensure 100 % accuracy and compliance.
- • Leverage native Sabre commands and graphical overlays to construct complex fare constructions, apply negotiated corporate rates, and manage schedule changes, reissues, voids, refunds, and exchanges with speed and precision—often juggling 20–30 active files per shift while maintaining sub-three-minute average talk time on calls.
- • Act as a policy enforcer and trusted advisor, interpreting each client’s travel policy, preferred supplier agreements, and sustainability mandates; flag non-compliant requests, suggest compliant alternatives, and document approvals to protect the client from audit risk and deliver measurable program savings.
- • Anticipate traveler friction points before they happen: monitor weather, strikes, and air traffic control delays; proactively rebook affected passengers; upsell seat upgrades, lounge passes, or ground transportation to enhance the traveler experience and drive incremental revenue.
- • Provide white-glove service for C-suite and road-warrior travelers, arranging priority boarding, fast-track immigration, dietary meal codes, and hotel amenities; maintain traveler profiles, passport and visa data, TSA PreCheck/Global Entry numbers, and loyalty program memberships to speed future bookings.
- • Collaborate in real time with a fully remote, nationwide team using Microsoft Teams, Slack, and ServiceNow; share hot alerts on inventory closures, schedule disruptions, and fare wars; mentor junior consultants through side-by-side call coaching and weekly knowledge-share sessions.
- • Contribute to continuous-improvement sprints by logging system bugs, suggesting workflow automations, and piloting new tools such as AI chatbots or robotic process automation macros that reduce average handling time and elevate customer satisfaction scores.
- • Meet and exceed KPIs including customer satisfaction (CSAT ≥ 92 %), first-call resolution (≥ 85 %), policy compliance (≥ 98 %), and average cost savings per booking (target 8 % below market fare); participate in monthly calibration sessions to refine performance.
- • Rotate through an 8 AM–8 PM (occasionally 10 PM) EST Monday–Friday shift pattern, ensuring 24/5 coverage for clients while enjoying consecutive days off and the flexibility to swap shifts with teammates using our internal marketplace app.
- • Embrace Amex GBT’s culture of inclusion by joining one of our INclusion Groups—such as Women in Travel, Pride, or Multicultural Network—to share experiences, influence product roadmaps, and help shape a workplace where every traveler and colleague feels seen and valued.
