Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of Rocket Software clients and partners, ensuring every contract is renewed on or before its due date while protecting and expanding annual recurring revenue.
- • Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers—ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to mid-market innovators—by conducting proactive outreach, documenting strategic customer intel, and serving as the single point of accountability for all renewal-related conversations.
- • Drive a disciplined renewal sales process: forecast accurately, maintain a pristine CRM pipeline, and execute against monthly, quarterly, and annual renewal targets that directly influence Rocket’s top-line growth and customer-success metrics.
- • Communicate Rocket’s maintenance and support value proposition with authority, translating technical capabilities into clear business outcomes that resonate with C-suite, IT, procurement, and end-user stakeholders alike.
- • Negotiate renewal terms, pricing uplifts, and multi-year commitments while balancing customer satisfaction and profitability; craft compelling proposals, statements of work, and order forms that align legal, finance, and customer requirements.
- • Minimize churn by identifying early risk signals—usage declines, budget freezes, competitive threats—and orchestrating cross-functional “save plays” that involve support, product, and executive leadership to secure the renewal.
- • Partner closely with Sales Account Executives to surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities (additional capacity, new product modules, premium support tiers) and seamlessly transition qualified leads for expansion revenue.
- • Act as the voice of the customer inside Rocket: escalate and resolve complex technical or contractual issues by liaising with support, engineering, legal, and finance teams, ensuring a friction-free renewal experience.
- • Champion continuous improvement by documenting best practices, refining renewal workflows, and training new team members on negotiation tactics, systems hygiene, and customer-success behaviors.
- • Monitor and report on renewal KPIs—gross retention rate, net retention rate, average selling price uplift, renewal cycle time—delivering actionable insights to leadership and iterating on strategies for sustained growth.
- • Contribute to Rocket’s inclusive, high-performance culture by embracing diversity of thought, mentoring peers, and embodying the company’s core values of empathy, humanity, trust, and love in every customer interaction.
